What this course is
Migration and the labour market: recruitment, integration, rights, and building a workforce that holds together.
This is about people moving for work — recruitment, integration and the rights that come with it. Employers and HR are the buyers. There is a good relations angle, but it is secondary to the employment one.
What you will cover
Delivered against the OCN Northern Ireland unit specification. By the end of it you will have covered:
- The changing local labour market, and how to address labour mobility issues
- Diversity in the workplace
- Communicating effectively about labour issues
Who it is for
Managers, HR and anyone who carries responsibility for a team. No previous training is assumed.
This is skills course — a short course, complete in itself. There is no prerequisite, and nothing you are expected to take afterwards.
